WOW! (aka OUCH!) “What good is your praise if the LORD hasn’t heard it yet? How many of us are reserving our praise until we get the victory the way we want it?”
SoldierGirl came over tonight and we (I use that term loosely :)) made three Pumpkin Rolls. It’s the first time we’ve b een able to spend any length of time together in months. I had a great time with her. In particular when she made the statement “How did you get so wise?!?”
Now THIS is what I call a productive lunch break! Butterhorns set to raise. Pumpkin roll baked and cooling on the side porch. I luvvvv living four miles from my job.
Veteran’s Day means a whole lot more to me now that I’m the Mother of an American Soldier!
While blog reading tonight I found this tidbit. Food for thought
“ Twice in Scripture Jesus is asked what needs to be done in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Twice He answers.
The first time, He says to Nicodemus, “In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven you must be born again, baptised in water and the Spirit.” We take this quite seriously and celebrate baptism with joy.
The second time, Jesus is asked the same question by an unnamed rich man. This time His answer is this, “In order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, you must sell everything you have and give it to the poor.”
We skip this one because it is a bit more difficult.
But what if Jesus WASN’T KIDDING?”
Just picked up my deer meat from the butcher shop. I’m so very, very thankful the LORD has put generous hunters in my life. Red meat at $1.66 a pound is my kind of bargain price!
Just heard from a friend and there’s another deer at Miller’s Butcher Shop with my name on it. THANK YOU LORD!!!
My old stepdaught posted this cute tidbit on my Facebook page tonight:
